Allyn Community Association | home
This Committee is responsible for maintenance of the Flaming Ash trees that line SR3 through Allyn, the triangle at the north end of town and have 'adopted' the kayak park at the south end of Allyn. They are currently working on placing a new 'welcome' sign at the south entrance to Allyn and have done a great deal of work at "Bell Square" in the shopping center. The bell was from the Allyn School which was built around 1890. The Association with cooperation from the Port of Allyn cleared and landscaped the area that is now the Waterfront Park, and built the gazebo.
The Committee has launced a campaign with local businessess to provide hanging baskets for summer & holiday banners at Christmas on the power poles through Allyn. This will be a great addition to our town.
