Allyn Community Association | home
This committee was formed in January of 1997 in response to the State Growth Management Act for the purpose of establishing a comprehensive plan for the Allyn Urban Growth Area. This plan includes a Vision Statement, Goals and Objectives, and interim zoning regulations. We are currently working on a capital facilities plan, final zoning regulations and final approval of the plan by County Commissioners. The committee is currently made up of 7people. Area residents are invited to participate in this very important function for the future of Allyn.
In October, the Plan was approved by the Mason County Planning Advisory Committee and final approval was given by the Mason County Commissioners on November 7th, 2006.
We can move on to finalizing the zoning regulations - we anticipate that this will be completed by March of 2007. Public input is not only accepted it is encouraged: we all have to live within these rules.
